The Recording Studio's Live Room was concieved and built with the intimate feel of a mid size club venue stage. With its irregular footprint and asymetric octagon dome ceiling, this 350 sq. ft. space is intimate, theatre-like and boasts varying acoustic qualities, Quick Soundfield and personal Q system. A Kawai upwright, Hammond X5 Organ, and various vintage amps and instruments are housed here. Great ambient night lighting makes for unusual evening sessions.

The 150 sq. ft. control room has a Toft 32 channel console, Digital work surface, Protools 10, Neve and API preamps and EQ's, Knox Video Matrix [ 16 Channel ] and lots of new & vintage outboard gear. For monitoring there's Yamaha NS10's, Adam Audio 8AX, and Auratones.

The Lodge is Connected to Barkaboom's studio via the lodge's [22 input 2 out] house panel. With an open rustic country house vibe, there's a 8'- 3" high main area 38'-0" x 9'-0" and 2 atrium spaces respectively 21'-0" and 23'-0" high, each about 250 sq.ft.

Barkaboom Lodge is great for rehearsal and recording and is a great mix of comfort, utility and rawness which is absent from most music production environments. Here for use are a Fender Rhodes 73, ASC's Quick Soundfield, Shona marimbas and a assortment of vintage analog amps and keys. As well, there's a video/ethernet loop to and from the Control room to the lodge.

The 2200 sq.ft. downstairs barn space is wide open and used to be the milking room for 25 Holsteins twice a day. The Barn Space has a real antique bar room vibe and is fitted with a 19-0" barnboard and Mahogany Bar, Farm and tresle tables,T-back and plank chairs and is lit with 1920's Halophane lights. There are also 2 bathrooms and an ajoining commercial kitchen here.

This 55-0"' by 39'-0" clear span space is cozy has varying ceiling heights and is condusive for multiple room set-ups. Film shoots, Tour Preparation and Special Events are held here. This is the place for large ensembles, intimate rehearsals and Live recordings and as well a great spot to kick back for a cool beer.
